New Jersey Country House.
Originally built as a horse stable
in the 1880’s the building was
expanded and converted into
a single family dwelling. Our
mission was to create a cohesive
and intimate environment in an
overwhelming and undefined
space. We married new custom
architectural elements, the
client's existing antiques and new
oversized furniture covered in
lush but durable fabrics. A once
sprawling, confusing space,
became a country treasure, a
place where “I like to live now;”
a simple yet meaningful
compliment.
Furnishings partly provided by A Rudin,
Apropos Furniture, Hickory Chair, Holly Hunt,
L’iorro Manne, Lee Jofa, Lorts Furniture,
Palecek, Stark Carpet, Summer Hill,
Rogers & Goffigen.
